This page is for the dogs we have no fosters for and cannot pull into rescue. Below you will find stats on each dog along with contact information on the where abouts of the dog. If you are interested in fostering some of these dogs so the rescue can pull them, please contact us. If you are interested in adopting them please contact the shelter listed below the dog.

Danes do not do well in kennels, they stop eating, they stop drinking, they either pace or lay in the corner distancing themselves. Some show aggression due to fear when they don't have a mean bone in their bodies, they lose weight, some have to be medicated for the anxiety.
Please think on opening your home so these seniors have a couch to rest their heads on safely for the rest of their days.

PA Great Dane Rescue is an all-volunteer organization operated out of the homes of the volunteers in the organization. We do not have a kennel, we have the Danes in our homes. If you contact the group, please be patient, we will return your call as soon as possible. We are available for contact during the following times: Monday - Saturday: 10:00 am until 7:00 pm
Because this rescue is a foster-based rescue,
we cannot accept visits to see the dogs without an appointment.
